Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure / Hybrid)
Salary up to £65,000
Based in London (remote)
The environment is hybrid moving toward fully cloud (Azure-led), with a small AWS footprint being phased out over the next 6 months. This role focuses on platform ownership, stability, security, and cost optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Azure and hybrid infrastructure
Ensure system stability, performance, and security
Support on-prem to cloud connectivity
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
Drive cost optimisation across cloud environments
Support data and integration services (ADF, Logic Apps, APIs)
Implement and maintain security controls and access policies
Contribute to automation and platform improvements
Skills & Experience:
Experience as a Cloud / Azure / Infrastructure Engineer
Strong Azure (IaaS, networking, identity, Entra ID)
Hybrid experience (on-prem + cloud)
Infrastructure background (Windows/Linux, AD, M365)
Working knowledge of AWS
Experience with security tools and controls
Backup experience (Veeam or similar)
Exposure to:
ADF / Fabric
Logic Apps / APIs
Front Door / WAF / Nginx
