Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional looking to make a positive impact in the community? Service Care Solutions are currently seeking a skilled Family Support Worker to join Durham council Children's Service on an initial 3 month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting families and vulnerable individuals, offering the chance to work within a dynamic and supportive environment. This is a full time position for 37 hours per week and with a pay rate of £14.59ph on offer.
Duties of the role will include:
Providing face-to-face support and guidance to families and individuals.
Assisting families in accessing community services and resources.
Conducting assessments to identify family needs and strengths.
Developing tailored support plans to promote family stability and wellbeing.
Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support.
Maintaining accurate case records and documentation.
Offering advice and safeguarding throughout your interactions.Candidate Requirements:
Experience working in family support, social work, or related fields.
Strong communication and empathetic listening skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence
