Overview

Henley recruitment are seeking an expereinced document controller / administrator to join a young, ambitious, and rapidly growing company operating within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who is looking for a long-term career with a company that values dedication, initiative, and professional growth. We are looking for someone who wants to develop alongside the business and play an integral role in our continued success.

The successful candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with multiple stakeholders, and supporting both office and site-based operations.

Duties

* Managing and maintaining project documentation and company records.

* Ordering materials and coordinating deliveries to sites.

* Liaising with site teams and assisting with the organisation of labour and resources.

* Daily communication with company directors regarding project progress and operational requirements.

* Monitoring and updating project trackers, schedules, and document registers.

* Ensuring documentation is accurately filed and readily accessible.

* Supporting general administrative functions across the business.

* Assisting with the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

* Handling incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally and efficiently.

Experience / Qualifications

* Previous experience as a Document Controller, Project Administrator, or similar administrative role.

* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

* Confident communicator with the ability to build effective working relationships.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.

* Experience within the construction, M&E, or engineering sectors is highly desirable.

* Previous experience working in a site-based environment would be a significant advantage.

* Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing business.

* A positive attitude and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities.
