Machine Operators are required to join a leading global manufacturing plant during a period of significant growth. The site is based on the Cross Green Industrial Estate, Leeds LS9.
This is a Level 1 Machine Operator Technician (Grade 1) position working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday:
• 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Due to the location and alternating shift pattern, candidates must be able to travel to site independently.
Ideal Candidates Must Have
• Proven experience in Machine Operations
• COSHH knowledge and experience
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
• Effective teamwork skills
• High levels of concentration
• A current FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Health & Safety policies
Key Duties
• Monitoring machines that mix specific chemicals and liquids to a formula
• Weighing chemicals/raw materials into mixing tanks
• Adjusting temperature and flow meter controls based on tank readings
This role suits individuals with strong practical skills who can work quickly, accurately, and safely. A checkable work history and your own safety shoes are essential.
