CNAPP Engineer/Architect (Wiz, Tenable, Security) - Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform Engineer/Architectneeded for an initial 3-6-month engagement with our Consultancy client in in the North of England, though the role can be worked fully remotely. The right candidate must have experience in CNAPP, Cloud, Cyber Security and demonstrable experience as a Cyber Security & Cloud Engineer and/or Architect.

The role is Outside IR35 and fully remote, though there may be the occasional workshop in Edinburgh or the North of England.

Our client is providing Security Consultancy services to their Financial Services end-client who have recently undertaken a vulnerability assessment and exposure management exercise, identifying security weaknesses across their IT, Cloud and Infrastructure estate. The successful candidate will engage to help them guide and navigate through the resultant vulnerability backlog, prioritising and addressing issues by engaging with the wider team and stakeholders across the organisations as required. The right candidate must have extensive experience in Security & Vulnerability landscapes, strong Cloud experience (ideally Azure), an understanding of weakness prioritisation and have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP) such as Wiz or Tenable.
  • Demonstrable experience in Cloud Security engineering, architecture and design principles.
  • Experience in Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience in vulnerability management and remediation, including prioritisation.
  • Strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Previous experience within Financial Services would be beneficial, though is not essential.
