Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced D365 Supply Chain Management Solution Architect to join a major transformation programme with an immediate start available. This contract role will play a critical part in shaping and delivering a Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM environment focused on inventory management, product management, and pricing processes.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams, and technical specialists to design scalable solutions that optimise warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, product lifecycle management, and pricing structures. This is a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly influence business performance and operational efficiency across the supply chain.

Responsibilities:

Lead the solution architecture and design of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management capabilities.
Define and deliver end-to-end inventory management processes and best practices.
Design solutions covering product management, product configuration, and pricing frameworks.
Provide expertise across Bill of Materials (BOM) and Sub-BOM structures.
Architect and optimise batch-controlled inventory processes, including manufacturing and warehouse considerations.
Define inventory date controls, shelf-life management, and stock traceability processes.
Design and implement Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities within D365 SCM.
Lead integration and optimisation of warehouse scanners and handheld devices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Support solution governance, architecture reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Provide guidance and leadership to functional consultants, developers, and project teams.Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Solution Architect.
Strong expertise in Inventory Management within D365 SCM.
Extensive knowledge of Product Information Management and Pricing capabilities.
Deep understanding of BOM and Sub-BOM structures.
Experience with Batch Control, Lot Tracking, and Inventory Date Management.
Strong knowledge of D365 Warehouse Management (WMS).
Experience implementing and supporting warehouse scanners and handheld devices.
Ability to design complex end-to-end supply chain solutions.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience working within large-scale transformation or implementation programmes.
