Role Overview

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their expanding team, covering a region from Cambridge through to North London.

The role will involve the service, maintenance, fault finding, repair, and support of a variety of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial environments. You will be responsible for ensuring systems remain fully operational and compliant whilst delivering a high standard of customer service to a well-established client base.

Working a 37.5-hour week with door-to-door travel paid and no call out requirement, this position offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a better work-life balance without compromising on career progression or technical development.

Key Responsibilities

* Service and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial sites

* Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs

* Complete planned preventative maintenance visits

* Identify and report remedial works where required

* Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations

* Produce accurate service documentation and reports

* Deliver exceptional customer service during all site visits and remain proffesional at all times

Experience & Qualifications Required

* Experience working as a Fire Alarm Engineer

* Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems and associated equipment

* Good fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities

* Understanding of current fire industry regulations and standards

* Strong communication and customer-facing skills

* Ability to work independently and manage your own diary
