Salary: £45,000
Employer: Leading UK Facilities Management Provider

Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a large UK Facilities Management organisation, supporting a key large public sector, high-profile contract based in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious and highly visible account within a professional building services environment, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems across a diverse and critical estate.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality maintenance services, supporting both planned and reactive works to ensure operational continuity across this important public sector site.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis across a wide range of electrical systems and building services equipment. This will include lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, control systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.

Working as part of a multi-skilled FM engineering team, you will ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with statutory compliance, public sector standards, and site procedures.

You will respond to electrical breakdowns promptly, diagnose faults accurately, and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime and disruption across a high-profile operational environment. In addition, you will support small installation works, system improvements, and ongoing site upgrades where required.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, completing compliance records, and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety legislation, company procedures, and client requirements.

About You
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within facilities management, building services, or a similar environment. A strong understanding of electrical systems, fault-finding, and maintenance practices is essential.

You will be proactive, reliable, and confident working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team. Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset are key to success in this role.

Experience within public sector, healthcare, or large complex estates would be highly advantageous.

- Opportunity to work on a large, high-profile public sector contract in Oxfordshire
- Stable, long-term role within a leading UK FM organisation
- Exposure to a prestigious and complex estate environment
- Career development and training opportunities
