This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Preconstruction Manager to join an industry leading MEP contractor with a strong project pipeline, long-term growth plans, and clear progression opportunities into senior leadership.

This established MEP contractor delivers a diverse range of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, heritage, refurbishment, and maintenance sectors. With a turnover approaching £85 million and several major projects recently secured, the business has a clear five-year growth strategy and continues to invest heavily in both its people and project delivery capabilities.
In this role, you will lead preconstruction activities across design and build projects, managing design teams through RIBA Stages 3-5 while ensuring compliance, buildability, efficiency, and technical excellence. You will work closely with commercial teams on bid submissions, review designs and specifications, conduct technical audits and feasibility studies, and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and specialist supply chain partners.
With that, the ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background within the MEP sector and experience within project management, contracts management, design management, or a similar technical role. You will be comfortable reviewing designs, specifications, and cost information while leading multidisciplinary teams.
