A confidential employer is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to support the delivery of an accurate monthly payroll and contribute to wider people‑focused operations. This role requires a detail‑driven individual with strong technical capability, sound judgement, and the confidence to act as a trusted point of contact for pay‑related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Support the preparation and processing of monthly payroll data within required deadlines.
Assist with calculations relating to additional hours, statutory leave and other pay variations.
Produce essential payroll outputs for authorised internal and external recipients.
Handle pay‑related queries through appropriate communication channels.
Maintain accurate records and ensure alignment with statutory and regulatory obligations.
Contribute to reporting, process consistency and continuous improvement activity.
Provide informed guidance and support during periods requiring additional expertise.

Experience Required

Proven payroll administration experience within a busy, deadline‑driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and confidence managing recurring payroll cycles.
Employee lifecycle processing including changes, benefits and pension‑related updates.
Clear communication skills for handling sensitive pay queries.
Data and systems capability with proficiency in spreadsheets and payroll/HR tools.
Experience with payroll platforms (any recognised system experience considered).
