What: Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Class Support
Where: Ellesmere Port Primary School
When: September start (short term supply available until summer)
How much: £95 - £105 per day
Who: Academics working on behalf of an Ellesmere Port primary school
A nurturing and encouraging primary school in Ellesmere Port is looking for a number of teaching assistant colleagues to join them in September as 1:1 TAs to help pupils across a number of year groups to thrive and grow.
If you are a caring, driven teaching assistant who wants to see the pupils that they work with blossom and bloom. Qualifications are a bonus, but not a requirement and experience working with children, particularly those with various needs, will help us identify the best role to provide the best support in this school.
What will it involve:
You will work closely with a particular pupil to support their needs
Sometimes supporting multiple pupils
Providing group support and interventions on occasion
Supporting the class teacher with set up and class management
Being an integral part of the fabric of the schoolWhat you will bring
Experience of working with young people, particularly those with additional needs
A passion for seeing children progress
A Teaching Assistant qualification or training (desirable, but not required)
Safeguarding understanding and a DBS (or willingness to obtain one through us)
An ability to work in schools in Ellesmere PortWhat we'll do
Ensure you have a supportive consultant throughout your journey
