We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installation works on a large-scale residential development. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site operatives, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality electrical installations in line with project programmes.
Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities across the residential scheme.
* Manage and support electricians and subcontractors on site.
* Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with current regulations, specifications, and company procedures.
* Conduct site inspections and quality checks to maintain high workmanship standards.
* Monitor progress against project programmes and report on milestones.
* Coordinate with project managers, site managers, clients, and other trades.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
* Assist with material management, labour allocation, and resource planning.
* Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
* Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
Electrical Supervisor Requirements
* Gold ECS / SSSTS
* Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on residential construction projects.
* Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
* Strong understanding of BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
