PK Education is working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in Newcastle to recruit an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and enjoys creating engaging learning experiences that help young children grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

About the Role

Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Assisting with the delivery of creative, play-based learning activities.
Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where children can learn and develop.
Encouraging children's social, emotional, and communication skills through positive interactions and play.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to support individual learning and development needs.

We're Looking for Someone Who:

Has experience working with children within an EYFS setting.
Understands the importance of learning through play and child-led exploration.
Brings energy, positivity, and enthusiasm to the classroom every day.
Enjoys being actively involved in activities, whether that's storytelling, role play, outdoor learning, arts and crafts, or messy play.
Can build strong relationships with children and encourage participation through fun and engaging interactions.
Is comfortable supporting children's personal care needs, including nappy changing and toileting assistance where required.
Has a nurturing and patient approach, helping children feel secure and supported as they learn.
Works well as part of a team and is committed to providing the best possible start to a child's education.
