Product Manager, Flash Systems

The Product Manager will provide global commercial and strategic leadership across Flash Systems product portfolios, which contain Bluelight Flash Systems for UV disinfection and humm3 Flash Systems for heating of composites. The role combines hands-on product management, market & competitive intelligence, and business development to drive sustainable growth, profitability, and portfolio innovation. This position acts as the voice of the customer internally, working closely with Sales, R&D, Operations, and regional teams to translate market insights into winning product strategies and successful product execution across the full lifecycle.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

* Deliver annual operating plan (AOP) objectives, including revenue, margin, and EBIT targets, for assigned product lines.

* Own and manage the full product lifecycle from concept and market validation through launch, growth, and end-of-life.

* Set and maintain global pricing guidance based on market value, competitive positioning, cost, and margin considerations, and establish processes and tools to ensure effective execution.

* Communicate the ‘voice of the customer’, supported by appropriate Sales Manager whenever necessary, including international travel as/when required

* Identify and assess attractive markets, applications, and customer segments using qualitative and quantitative sources such as customer interviews, expert consultations, and market models.

* Lead market sizing, segmentation, competitive analysis, and business case development to support investment and go-to-market decisions.

* Identify and develop new markets and applications for both new and existing products in collaboration with regional sales teams.

* Work closely with R&D to define product requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure timely delivery of new and improved products.

* Act as a business leader in cross-functional projects, including development initiatives.

* Ensure accurate forecasting, performance tracking, and regular reporting on product line activities, risks, and opportunities.

* Ensure accurate quarterly revenue forecasting for current and following quarter

* Support Trade Show events with booth representation of product lines, customer meetings etc.

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

* Minimum 5 years Product Management experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably from the Food/Beverage Packaging industry

* Bachelor’s degree in physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

* Excellent English verbal and written communication skills

* Exceptional work ethic and commitment to organizational objectives within a highly competitive and rapidly changing market place

* Ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment

* Excellent oral, written presentation and interpersonal skills

* Customer-orientated mindset with the ability to position complex, technical products

* Able to build strong, confident relationships within the company and internal stakeholders

* Able to communicate professionally with customers – well organized project management

* Good organization and planning skills

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Location: Science Park, Cambridge
