SEN Teaching Assistant - Barking & Dagenham

Start: ASAP / September Start

We are seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants for specialist provisions across Barking & Dagenham.

These roles involve supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs in nurturing environments focused on emotional development, engagement, and positive behaviour.

The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Assist with personalised learning programmes
Encourage independence, confidence, and social skills
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting SEN or vulnerable young people
Strong behaviour management skills
Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
Willingness to support personal care if needed
