Base Salary: £52,000
*
Earnings Potential: £60,000 – £70,000 OTE (Plus quarterly bonus & excellent overtime opportunities)

Shifts: Continentals (Other shifts available – apply to discuss)

🚀 How You’ll Make an Impact
Working within a culture of continuous improvement, you will be a key player on the shop floor, handling a varied mix of preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance for both new and established machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
*
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain a wide range of mechanical equipment, including Manual Lathes, Millers, Planers, and Bar Peelers.
*
Fluid Power Systems: Fault-find, troubleshoot, and repair complex Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems.
*
Root Cause Analysis: Participate in problem-solving initiatives to drive long-term plant and machinery reliability.
*
Minimize Downtime: Collaborate closely with production teams to enhance productivity and site efficiency.
*
Safety First: Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in a physically demanding environment.
🔧 What We Are Looking For
*
Qualifications: Minimum ONC or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
*
Experience: A proven track record in maintaining machine tools (Manual or CNC), ideally within a heavy industry environment (e.g., metal, presswork, or CNC manufacturing).
*
Technical Skills: Strong mechanical fault-finding abilities with hands-on hydraulics and pneumatics experience. Fitting, machining, welding, or gearbox rebuild experience is highly desirable.
*
Security Clearances: Must be comfortable undertaking specific security screening protocols as required by local/U.S. Government legislation for controlled equipment.
