Regulatory Officer – Lancashire – Ref 2626

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Regulatory Officer to provide regulatory advice and support to ensure our client is legally compliant with product related regulations globally.
The regulatory team works globally as one department with close collaboration between the EU and US team members to support the global business needs. Regulatory officers are expected to support Sales, R&D, procurement and other regulators to ensure product compliance is met.

Responsibilities:

* Provide regulatory compliance support:

* Responding to customers and internal stakeholders’ regulatory requests and authoring regulatory reviews.

* Stay up to date with all relevant local, national, and international regulations that govern chemical mixtures, including but not limited to REACH, GHS, CLP, FCM, FDA, and other relevant frameworks.

* Understand and communicate the impact of regulatory changes on our products and processes.

* Support the implementation of strategies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

* Regulatory intelligence:

* Stay informed about emerging trends, advancements, and best practices in the regulatory field related to chemical mixtures.

* Provide guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders on strategies for maintaining compliance and navigating regulatory challenges.

* Interact with national printing ink relevant industry associations when required.

* Manage and update the raw material SDS including:

* Evaluate new raw material SDS, ensuring any further follow up actions are reviewed/ completed including SNUR, TSCA, checking impact on any hazard statements establishing impact on regulations and potential changes on finishing product hazard symbols which impact on labelling and SDS.

* Support the management of the finished product SDS.

* Provide support and work with the Global Regulatory Team:

* Working within and maintaining the global regulatory inbox.

* Proactively support internal and external understanding of regulatory changes, liaising with customers and internal teams when required.

* Listen, communicate internally and support solution finding for any new Regulatory requirements raised by the customer in a timely manner to improve levels of customer satisfaction.

Benefits:

* Salary: up to £38,000.

* 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

* Pension contribution up to 7%.
