Key Responsibilities
Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
Promoting children's physical, emotional, and social development
Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
Observing, monitoring, and recording children's progress
Adhering to safeguarding, health and safety, and setting policies at all times
Person Specification
Essential
Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
Previous experience working within nurseries, schools, or children's centres
Experience supporting children from birth to five years
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child development
