The Company
MJM is currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters to work at Heathrow Airport on a long-term basis.
You'll be part of a skilled team responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity of Heathrow's critical infrastructure-keeping systems running efficiently in one of the world's busiest airports.
The Role
As a Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter based at Heathrow, you will be responsible for maintaining automated systems to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, and equipment availability.
Your duties will include:
Maintaining automated systems to a high operational standard
Carrying out fault-finding, reactive repairs, and planned preventative maintenance
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth system performance
About You
Proven experience installing and maintaining industrial-sized systems (airport, logistics, or manufacturing environments)
Recognised mechanical qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or higher)
Valid CSCS Card - essential
Flexible to work a rotating schedule of days, nights, and weekends
Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset
Desirable Experience
It would be advantageous if you also have:
Experience in a similar setting, manufacturing, industrial, or automated environment
A 5-year checkable work history, required for Airside pass clearance
