What You Will Bring to the Team
The Essentials
Strong experience in an HSE/HSSE role, preferably within food or similar manufacturing environment.
Good working knowledge of UK health and safety and environmental legislation.
NEBOSH General Certificate.
IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
Passion for sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
High attention to detail.
Confident communicator with a range of audiences.
Proactive and able to work independently.
The Desirables
Understanding of food manufacturing risks and controls.
IOSH, or equivalent qualification.
IEMA Associate Certificate in Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification/experience.
Food safety qualification at level 2 or 3.
Practical understanding of Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements.
