Technology Supplier Relationship Lead AI Contracts

London | Hybrid Working

Up to £80,000 Base Salary + Benefits

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking an experienced Technology Supplier Relationship Lead to join its growing Technology function.

Technology sits at the heart of the firm's business strategy and supports a global user base across the UK, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Hong Kong. With significant investment across cloud, AI, cyber security, enterprise applications and digital transformation, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the firm's technology supplier ecosystem.

Working closely with senior Technology, Product, Procurement, Risk and Legal stakeholders, you will take ownership of strategic technology supplier relationships, ensuring strong governance, commercial value, operational performance and risk management across a complex portfolio of cloud, SaaS, managed service and AI technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the firm's technology supplier relationship strategy.
Manage strategic relationships with cloud providers, SaaS vendors, managed service providers and AI technology partners.
Lead supplier governance activities, including KPIs, SLAs, performance reviews and executive governance forums.
Negotiate supplier contracts, renewals and commercial agreements.
Drive supplier accountability, operational performance and value realisation.
Manage supplier risk, resilience and compliance requirements.
Support the governance and commercial management of AI-enabled services and emerging technology suppliers.
Ensure supplier engagements align with evolving regulatory requirements, including AI-related governance obligations.
Work closely with Product Owners, Architecture, Technology and Procurement teams to ensure supplier services align with business and technology objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve service quality, operational resilience, innovation and cost efficiency.

Experience Required

5+ years' experience in Technology Supplier Management, Vendor Management or Technology Operations.
Strong experience managing strategic technology suppliers and outsourcing partners.
Proven contract negotiation and commercial management experience.
Experience managing cloud, SaaS and managed service providers.
Understanding of AI-enabled technologies, AI supplier governance and associated commercial considerations.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience operating within complex, regulated environments.
Professional services, legal, financial services or similarly regulated sector experience would be advantageous.
