The Role
We’re looking for dedicated and resilient Support Workers to join a residential childcare team. This is a hands-on role where you will play a key part in supporting vulnerable children and young people in their day-to-day lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care in line with Ofsted standards and individual care plans
* Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people
* Support daily routines including education, activities, health, and home life
* Encourage independence, resilience, and personal development
* Manage challenging behaviour using a calm, therapeutic approach
* Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
* Contribute to a safe, stable, and supportive home environment
About You
* Genuine interest in supporting children and young people
* Calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Minimum 2 years experience in childcare
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
