Are you an experienced Can Manufacturing Team Leader ready to step into a high-performing, fast-paced manufacturing environment where your leadership makes a real impact?

At Crown, we're not just producing cans-we're creating world-class products with precision, innovation, and pride. With over 130 years of global success, 179 plants across 39 countries, and a reputation for operational excellence, we offer the stability of a global leader combined with the energy of a growing, cutting-edge site.

Our Peterborough facility is a standout success story, recognised internally as "Overall Best Plant in EMEA" within just three years of opening. As we continue to expand, we're looking for talented Can Manufacturing Team Leader to play a key role in our next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for overseeing shift performance, ensuring safety, quality, and output targets are consistently met.

You'll lead from the front-supporting and developing your team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the production line. Working collaboratively, you'll tackle challenges head-on, reduce downtime, and deliver strong operational performance.

What's on Offer

£62,395 (inclusive of £5,306 Team Leader allowance)
Pension scheme and healthcare benefits
Generous holiday allowance
Structured shift pattern providing consistency and balance
Opportunities to work with industry-leading machinery and technology
Clear progression pathways within a global organisation

What You'll Bring

You'll be a confident leader with a strong operational mindset and a passion for safety, quality, and team development. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable taking ownership of performance and decision-making on shift.

Hands-on experience within can making is also required, as this is a practical leadership role with direct involvement on the production line.

A Level 3 Apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Maintenance is essential. Previous experience leading or developing a team within a manufacturing environment will be highly beneficial.

Why Crown?

At Crown Peterborough, we invest in our people because we know they drive our success. In just three years, around 20% of our team has been promoted, and many others have been supported through apprenticeships in areas like Mechatronics, HR, Continuous Improvement, and Leadership.

You'll be joining a business that genuinely lives its values-where high performance is recognised, development is supported, and teamwork is at the core of everything we do.

If you're looking for more than just a job-if you want to be part of a team that's setting the standard in manufacturing and building something exceptional-this could be your next move!!!
