Tennial Personnel are actively recruiting for a Bulk Production Operative to join a well-established cosmetics manufacturing company based in Halesworth.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate seeking long-term employment with a company that offers genuine permanent opportunities. The role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis with the intention of securing a permanent contract following a successful probationary period.

The position operates on a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm. Upon securing a permanent contract, the shift pattern will move to 6:00am – 3:00pm and 1:00pm – 10:00pm.

This is a varied and hands-on role within the Bulk Production Department, responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients used in the manufacture of cosmetic products. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring production recipes are followed precisely, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately weigh and measure raw materials and ingredients in line with production specifications

Mix cosmetic products according to detailed formulations and manufacturing instructions

Ensure the correct ingredients are allocated to the correct products and batches

Complete batch records and production documentation accurately

Carry out quality checks throughout the production process

Transfer raw materials and finished bulk products safely within the production area

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the manufacturing environment

Follow all company procedures relating to quality, health and safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Support production targets and deadlines

Assist with general production duties as required

Physical Requirements:

This role involves regular manual handling and heavy lifting of raw materials and ingredients weighing up to 25kg.

Applicants must be comfortable working on their feet for extended periods and carrying out physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.

Skills Required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to follow written instructions and formulations precisely

Good numerical skills and confidence working with weights and measurements

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Reliable and proactive approach to work

Ability to maintain high standards of quality and hygiene

Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling duties

Qualifications Required
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, food production, pharmaceutical, chemical, or cosmetics environment is desirable but not essential

Basic understanding of health and safety procedures within a production environment

Full UK Driving Licence and access to transport preferred due to location
