Registered Home Manager – Residential Care Home
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Registered Home Manager to lead a well-performing residential care home in the Stockton area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive organisation with a strong platform for continued success.

The Home

The service is a well-established residential care home providing high-quality care and support to older people. The home is currently rated Good with CQC, benefiting from:

* Strong and stable occupancy levels

* Good staffing levels with a committed and established team

* Positive reputation within the local community

* Supportive senior leadership structure

The Role

As Registered Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and commercial performance. You will lead from the front in maintaining quality, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring residents receive safe, person-centred care.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overall leadership and management of the home

* Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and internal policies

* Driving quality improvement and sustaining “Good” outcomes

* Managing budgets, occupancy, and staffing effectively

* Leading, developing, and supporting a dedicated care team

* Building strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced care home leader who can demonstrate:

* Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a residential setting

* Strong knowledge of CQC frameworks and regulatory compliance

* A track record of maintaining or improving quality ratings

* Excellent leadership and team development skills

* A calm, visible, and supportive management style
