Mobile Electrical Engineer
Location: London (Within the M25)
Portfolio: Commercial & Residential Properties
Salary: £50,000 + Overtime + Company Van & Fuel Card
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial and residential properties across London within the M25.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical engineer seeking a well-paid mobile position with no call-out requirement, plenty of overtime opportunities, and the autonomy to manage a varied portfolio of sites.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance across commercial and residential properties
Conducting electrical inspection and testing in accordance with BS7671
Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults efficiently and safely
Completing electrical certification and remedial reports where required
Carrying out minor installation works
Maintaining lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems
Completing maintenance reports, compliance documentation, and job sheets accurately
Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with BS7671 and Health & Safety regulations
Liaising with clients and site teams to ensure a high standard of service deliveryRequirementsEssential
NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
Proven experience in electrical maintenance, inspection, testing, and fault finding
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to work independently and effectively manage a mobile workload
