We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 6 Registered Nurse specialising in Chemotherapy to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide specialised nursing care to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their treatment journey. Duties
* Administer chemotherapy and other intravenous medications following prescribed protocols with precision and care.
* Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during and after treatment sessions, recognising any adverse reactions promptly.
* Educate patients and their families about chemotherapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and organisational policies.
Requirements
* NMC Registered Nurse
* Must be SACT trained and recent experience of SACT administration
* Experience managing complex cases and supporting multidisciplinary teams
* Right to work in the UK
* Up-to-date mandatory trainings
