Finance Manager

We’re looking for a technically strong and commercially aware Finance Manager to join a high-performing corporate finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape financial reporting, influence senior stakeholders, and take ownership of key statutory and technical accounting areas within a large, fast-paced business.
The Opportunity
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of external financial reporting. Working closely with senior leadership and a wide network of finance stakeholders, you’ll contribute to business-critical decisions and strategic initiatives.
This is more than a reporting role — it’s a chance to bring insight, drive continuous improvement, and make a real impact.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead and support statutory and external reporting, including group and subsidiary accounts
Partner with auditors to deliver a smooth and efficient external audit process
Provide guidance on technical accounting matters, including complex judgements and policy development
Own and deliver impairment modelling across key balance sheet areas
Support monthly and quarterly reporting to the Group and wider stakeholders
Contribute to budgeting and long-term planning, including debt and interest forecasts
Drive process improvement and automation across reporting activities
Play a key role in finance projects (e.g. structural simplification, system/process enhancements)
Build strong relationships across finance, leadership teams, and external partners
Line manage and develop a junior team member, fostering a high-performance cultureWhat We’re Looking For
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
Strong experience in technical accounting and external reporting
Proven ability to work with auditors and complex group structures
Confident communicator — able to translate technical detail into clear, actionable insight
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
A proactive approach, with the agility to adapt in a fast-changing environment
