SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in Havering (Hornchurch) that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their early years (nursery/reception).
This rewarding role will involve a combination of one-to-one support for pupils with Autism and general classroom assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting children's learning through play-based and structured activities
Assisting with the development of early literacy, phonics, and numeracy skills
Helping to maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
Assisting with observations and tracking pupil progress
Promoting children's confidence, independence, and overall wellbeingAbout You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Ideally hold a CACHE Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent (such as a qualified Nursery Nurse or Early Years Practitioner)
Have previous experience working within an Early Years setting, such as Nursery or Reception
Have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Work effectively as part of a team while building positive relationships with children and staffApply Today
