Semi-Senior Accountant – Buckingham | Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum | Permanent | Full-Time
We are recruiting on for an experienced and ambitious Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team based in Buckingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant who is looking to develop their skills within a supportive and professional environment.
You will work closely with a portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries, delivering high-quality accounts preparation, tax compliance, and advisory services. This role offers excellent scope for progression and ongoing study support.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assistance with corporation tax and personal tax returns
Bookkeeping and VAT return preparation
Supporting senior team members with client queries and ad hoc projects
Liaising directly with clients to gather financial information and resolve queries
Assisting with management accounts preparation
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and tax legislationRequirements
Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or AAT qualified and looking to progress)
Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
