Start Date: September 2026
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspirational Primary Teacher to join our friendly and supportive school community from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning and who believes that every child can achieve success. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Create a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning and behaviour.
Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, using assessment information to inform future planning and ensure all pupils make strong progress.
Set high expectations for achievement, behaviour and personal development.
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, EAL and disadvantaged pupils.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching practice.
Establish positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers to support children's learning and wellbeing.
Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in events, enrichment opportunities and extracurricular activities.
Fulfil professional responsibilities in line with the Teachers' Standards.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with school policies and statutory guidance.Why Horizon Teachers
