KS2 Teacher
Academics are currently recruiting confident and adaptable KS2 Teachers to support a number of our partner schools across Bradford. We work with a variety of schools including mainstream settings and specialist SEN provisions, offering flexible opportunities for experienced and passionate educators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for KS2 Teachers who enjoy working in different environments and supporting children in the later stages of primary education. Roles may include working within Year 3 to Year 6 classrooms, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or teaching within dedicated SEN provisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
Preparing pupils for statutory assessments (including SATs where applicable)
Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN
Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Working collaboratively with support staff, parents and the wider school teamWhat We're Looking For:
A confident and proactive KS2 Teacher
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS2
A flexible and reliable approach to working across different schools
A genuine passion for inspiring and motivating pupils
A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete a DBS applicationWhy work with Academics?
