HVAP Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: North West London
Salary: £57,000 - £65,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | Days Only
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HVAP Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management service provider at a prestigious commercial site in North West London, conveniently located within walking distance of King's Cross Station.
This role is ideal for a qualified electrical engineer with a strong background in building services maintenance and high-voltage systems. Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the site.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and fault-finding situations.
Complete all relevant documentation, including logbooks, RAMS, and maintenance records.
Attend client meetings and provide technical expertise and support.
Conduct emergency lighting inspections and testing.
Perform electrical maintenance and installation works, including lighting, wiring, testing, fire alarms, and BMS systems.
Operate, maintain, and fault-find on Building Management Systems (BMS).
Maintain air conditioning systems, including DX units, chilled water systems, and adiabatic AHUs.
Service and maintain generators, control systems, and UPS equipment.
Work on AC/DC electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase motors.
Support the maintenance and operation of HV/LV electrical infrastructure.Requirements
City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
Completed recognised apprenticeship or equivalent experience within Building Services.
Proven HVAP/HV experience is essential.
Previous supervisory experience within a technical or maintenance environment.
Health & Safety training and strong awareness of safe working practices.What's On Offer
