We are currently recruiting for a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established contractor specialising in external refurbishment and upgrade works within the Social Housing and Healthcare sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced commercial team, with exposure to the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) - (Mandatory).
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the management of costs on refurbishment and maintenance projects
* Working with the NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) to price works
* Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Liaising with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients
* Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are maintained
Requirements:
* Previous experience or exposure to Disrepair, Voids, and Repairs within Social Housing
* Knowledge or understanding of NHF Schedule of Rates (SOR) (Mandatory)
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational abilities
* Ambition to progress within a Quantity Surveying role
Working Arrangement:
* Office-based role in Barnet
