We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive and well-resourced specialist school in the Ealing area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing environment that places pupil wellbeing, inclusion, and individual achievement at the heart of everything it does.

About the Role

The successful candidate will teach primary-aged pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, delivering engaging and personalised learning experiences that enable every child to reach their full potential.

The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including:

* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

* Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)

* Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)

* Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)

* SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs)

* Complex Learning Needs

You will work closely with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, SENCOs, and the wider multidisciplinary team to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs

* Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment

* Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and communication development

* Develop and implement personalised learning strategies and interventions

* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress against EHCP outcomes

* Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and external agencies

* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

* Experience teaching within a primary or SEN setting

* Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

* Ability to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of learning needs

* Passion for supporting children with additional needs

Desirable

* Experience working with ASD, SLD, MLD, or complex needs

* Knowledge of EHCPs and SEND legislation

* Experience using communication strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or visual supports

* Team Teach or positive behaviour support training
