The Role – Primary Teaching Assistant

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve success both academically and socially.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with ASD and behavioural needs, working both on a 1:1 basis and as part of the wider classroom environment. You will collaborate closely with teachers and the SEN team to deliver targeted interventions, encourage positive behaviour, and help pupils remain engaged with their learning throughout the school day.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have previous experience working within a primary school setting and a strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs. A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach is essential for this role.
