The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in King's Lynn. This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training, and the chance to work within a modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
* Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair requirements.
* Ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and company standards.
* Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
* Work efficiently to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Support colleagues and contribute to overall workshop performance.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Desirable
* MOT Tester qualification.
* Franchise dealership experience.
* Hybrid and EV qualifications.
* Manufacturer accreditation.
