Job Title: Plant Operative / Waste Processing Operative
Location: Carryduff and Duncrue
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5:00pm (45 hours per week)

The Role
We are recruiting for a Plant Operative to support the safe and efficient running of a busy waste treatment facility. This is a hands-on role involving plant operation, waste sorting, and general site duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy plant and machinery safely and efficiently
Monitor equipment performance and report faults
Carry out waste sorting, segregation, and processing
Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality procedures
Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of materials
Complete basic records, checklists, and report issues to management
Requirements
Essential:
Experience operating plant or machinery
Ability to carry out manual/physical work
Good communication skills
Reliable with strong attendance
Team player with a proactive attitude
Flexible to work overtime when required
Desirable:
CSR Card or Health & Safety qualification
Full driving licence
Experience with agricultural machinery
Basic mechanical knowledge
