Class 1 Driver

Pyramid Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing ad hoc agency bookings with a leading transport operation specialising in temperature-controlled deliveries.

Responsibilities:

* Safe and professional operation of Class 1 refrigerated vehicles

* Completing temperature-controlled deliveries to RDCs, distribution centres, and customer locations

* Conducting daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

* Monitoring and maintaining temperature compliance throughout deliveries

* Ensuring compliance with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures

* Completing all relevant paperwork and POD documentation accurately

Requirements:

* Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence

* Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Experience with refrigerated or temperature-controlled transport is advantageous but not essential

* Good understanding of driver hours and road transport legislation

* Professional and reliable approach to work
