The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer to take a key role in shaping and delivering our data strategy.

This is a high-impact position combining technical leadership, hands-on engineering, and strategic influence. You’ll lead the development of our Enterprise Data Warehouse and play a central role in embedding scalable data capabilities into our products helping drive better healthcare outcomes through insight.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership to the Business Intelligence team, supporting and evolving CLEO Systems’ data capability

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, architectures, and models

Lead the development of our Enterprise Data Warehouse and associated platforms

Collaborate with Product and Commercial teams to ensure systems capture and utilise data effectively

Enable data-driven decision making across the organisation

Contribute to the design of CLEO products by embedding analytics and reporting functionality

Support the development of data policies and ensure compliance with evolving standards

Create and maintain documentation, technical standards, and SOPs to improve resilience and reduce risk

About You

You’ll be a strong technical leader with a passion for using data to drive meaningful impact.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with:

Proven experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and pipeline development

Experience leading or mentoring technical teams

At least 5 years within information, data architecture and engineering

Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams

Experience working with Product and/or Commercial teams

A solid understanding of data governance and best practice, ideally within a regulated environment

A proactive, collaborative mindset aligned with our values
