Job Title: General Warehouse Assistant (Catering Environment)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Assistant to join our fast-paced catering operation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on environment and working as part of a team to support food service operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring all catering supplies, food items, and equipment are received, stored, and distributed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of food, beverages, and catering supplies
Picking and packing orders for events, kitchens, or service areas
Maintaining accurate stock levels and assisting with stocktakes
Ensuring all goods are stored safely and in line with food hygiene standards
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety regulations
Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Supporting the wider catering team as required during busy periodsRequirements

Previous warehouse or catering experience is desirable but not essential
Good level of physical fitness (manual handling involved)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety (training can be provided)
Flexible approach to working hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekendsWhat We Offer
