Rullion is offering an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Operator to join a busy overhaul team based at Selhurst Depot in South London. You will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end material flow for rolling stock overhaul activities, including checking, receiving, packing, and despatching components to and from suppliers and our onsite customer.
Contract, 6 Month rolling contract, ongoing role
Shift Pattern: Days, Mon - Fri
5 / 40 hours per week,
£18.94 per hour (Umbrella)
£14.27 per hour (PAYE)Main duties and responsibilities will include:
Working as part of a dedicated engineering and logistics support environment, you will ensure all transactions are accurately processed through SAP ERP systems, alongside associated trackers and spreadsheets. The role offers a varied mix of hands-on work and computer-based administration, supporting the smooth delivery of overhaul programmes and maintaining strong communication with both customer stores teams and internal project and engineering staff.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in a logistics, stores, warehousing, or materials handling environment, ideally within an engineering, rail, or manufacturing setting
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately check, receive, pack, and despatch technical components
Experience using SAP ERP systems (or similar inventory / warehouse management systems) for processing transactions and updating stock records
Competent in using Microsoft Excel and basic data tracking tools, including spreadsheets and work trackers
Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, multi-workstream environment, prioritising tasks effectively
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies in material flow or documentation
Good communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customer stores teams, engineers, and internal project staff
Comfortable working in a hands-on role combined with computer-based administration tasks
Flexible and willing to support operations across Selhurst Depot and occasional cover at Hornsey Depot
No forklift licence required, however any MHE awareness or previous experience would be advantageous
A strong focus on safety, compliance, and accuracy in all warehouse and depot activitiesINDTR-BR
