Mobile Vehicle Technician in Bishops Stortford!
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and well-established automotive company seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team covering the Bishops Stortford area. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled automotive technicians to work in a varied environment, servicing and repairing vehicles at customers’ locations.
Benefits for the successful Mobile Vehicle Technician:
Competitive basic salary from £40,170 up to £52,000 OTE
Fully equipped, state-of-the-art vehicle provided for daily work
Industry-leading training programmes and clear career progression pathways
Monday to Friday working hours, 1-in-4 Saturdays
23 days annual holiday, increasing to 25 days with service
Consistent shift pattern known 12 months in advance
Supportive technical team and ongoing technical assistance
Opportunities for professional development within a recognised national businessDuties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
Conduct servicing, general maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on customer vehicles at their premises or workplaces
Provide exceptional customer service and technical support during onsite visits
Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality standards
Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, using diagnostic tools
Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings effectively
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, promoting excellent service standards
Follow manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices
Stay updated with technical advancements and training provided by the employerRequirements needed of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
NVQ Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience in vehicle servicing and repairs
Full UK driving licence
Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
Electrical and diagnostic experience is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Flexibility to service vehicles across the Bishops Stortford area
