The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronic Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Wakefield. With over 30 years of industry experience, our client works with a range of leading organisations and is now investing in the development of innovative, next-generation products.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced electronics engineer who is passionate about emerging technologies and eager to expand their technical expertise within a forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Schematic capture and circuit design
Design and development of multilayer PCBs, including layout
Development of both analogue and digital electronics
Collaboration with cross-functional teams including embedded software and mechanical engineering
Contribution across the full product design lifecycle, from concept through to productionEssential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in electronic design within an industry environment
Strong knowledge of multilayer PCB design and layout
Experience with schematic capture tools
Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuit design
Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related disciplineDesirable Skills
Experience using PCB design tools such as Altium or PADS
Knowledge of LCD or touchscreen display integration
Experience with Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS)What's on Offer
