A financial company based in the East Midlands is looking for someone keen to star their career in Cyber and work alongside experienced professionals. You will learn on the job and support our customers on a day-to-day basis.
KEY DUTIES
* Monitor security systems and logs to identify, triage, and escalate potential cyber security incidents.
* Support vulnerability scanning, threat monitoring, and remediation activities across systems and applications.
* Assist with access control processes, including user access requests, reviews, and privileged account monitoring.
* Support compliance with financial and regulatory security requirements by maintaining documentation and audit evidence.
* Help protect sensitive financial and customer data through basic security controls and endpoint monitoring.
* Contribute to security awareness activities, including phishing simulations and staff guidance on secure practices.
* Maintain security documentation, support incident reviews, and build cyber security skills through ongoing learning.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Interest in cyber security, data protection, or technology
* Basic understanding of computers and digital systems
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Professional attitude and willingness to learn
