Our client, a reputable and rapidly expanding independent used car supermarket in Derby, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their modern, busy workshop. Opportunities for professional development within a dynamic teamDuties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct routine servicing and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles
Diagnose faults accurately and perform effective repairs
Complete MOT tests where qualified and necessary as a Vehicle Technician
Carry out road tests and ramp inspections to ensure quality workmanship
Use approved methods and manufacturer standards to undertake repairs
Complete all job cards and workshop documentation accurately and promptly
Maintain high standards of work and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with colleagues to optimise workshop efficiencyRequirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a workshop environment
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
MOT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
Full UK Driving Licence
Own tools
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
