The Role
A major hydroelectric infrastructure project in Inverness, Scotland requires a Site Agent to manage a defined package or section of works on a large and technically complex civil engineering programme. This is a permanent role with a Tier 1 contractor, offering real responsibility on a landmark scheme.
Key Responsibilities
Take full responsibility for safe delivery of an allocated section or package of works on programme and to budget
Lead a site team including Section Foremen, Site Engineers and subcontractors
Prepare and update short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules
Attend and chair progress meetings, reporting to the Construction Manager and Project Manager
Manage commercial activity within your section, raising early warnings and supporting compensation events
Coordinate plant, labour and materials resources effectively
Drive a proactive safety and quality culture within your teamWhat You Will Need
Proven experience as a Site Agent or Project Manager on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
SMSTS qualified
Black CSCS card
Strong programme management and leadership skills
Commercial awareness with NEC contract experience preferred
Experience on water, energy or hydro infrastructure is advantageousThe Package
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 per annum
Car Allowance: £5,750
Full-time permanent position (45 hours per week)
