Inventory Controller
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £26,932.49 per annum, rising to £28,606.50 after successful completion of a 6-month probation period, plus a minimum productivity bonus of £2,000

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 4:30pm; Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

A long-established and growing supplier based in the Doncaster area is looking to appoint an experienced Inventory Controller to join its existing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in inventory, stock control, warehouse administration, or supply chain support who is looking to join a stable, forward-thinking, and supportive business.
As Inventory Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels, supporting purchasing and logistics activity, and ensuring stock records are kept up to date.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels across the business
*
Replenish stock as required to support operational demand
*
Liaise with logistics, purchasing, warehouse, and supply chain teams
*
Assist with forecasting stock requirements based on supply and demand
*
Carry out regular stock checks and stock takes
*
Investigate and report stock discrepancies
*
Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal systems
*
Support with general warehouse administration and stock control duties
*
Work accurately while managing multiple priorities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
*
Previous experience in inventory control, stock control, warehouse administration, or a similar role
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
*
The ability to work on your own initiative and manage multiple tasks
*
Strong communication and organisational skills
*
Experience operating a scissor lift or reach truck would be advantageous but is not essential
*
Own transport due to the rural location
This role would suit someone who is organised, reliable, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy stock or inventory-based environment.
