Our client is looking for a Site Lead to run the day-to-day operation of their facility in Warminster. The Site Lead will need to have previous operational management or team leadership in a defence or secure environment. In addition, the Site Lead will need to have strong organisational, communication, relationship management, problem-solving and IT skills. You must have security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operation of the facility
Ensure contractual service delivery obligations, KPIs and targets are achieved
Support incident response, escalation management, and operational recovery activities
Provide effective day-to-day leadership, direction, and supervision of site-based personnel
Allocate workload, manage priorities, and ensure effective deployment of resources
Promote accountability, collaboration, and professional standards across the team
Act as the primary operational point of contact for stakeholders, contractors and colleagues
Escalate risks, contractual concerns, or service issues appropriately
Provide accurate operational updates, reports, and service communications
Ensure operational equipment, systems, and associated assets are prepared and available to support service delivery requirements
Ensure operational incidents, faults, and service disruptions are recorded, escalated, and resolved through approved processes
Support planning and coordination of training events, visits, and operational activities
Ensure site operations comply with policies, procedures, H&S, and legal and contractual obligations
Support internal audits, investigations, assurance activities, and continuous improvement actions
Identify opportunities to improve service performance, efficiency, customer experience, and team effectiveness
Support implementation of business change, service enhancements, or operational improvements
Knowledge, skills and qualifications:
Essential:
Experience within defence, military support, simulation, or secure operational environments
Strong experience in a supervisory, team leadership or operational management role
Previous experience managing people within an operational, technical, defence, engineering, training or service-led environments
Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently with appropriate judgement and accountability
Have security clearance
Desirables:
Experience operating within contractual service delivery environments
Familiarity with technical systems support or equipment availability management
Relevant leadership or management qualifications
Health & safety qualification
Salary: £50,000
