Junior Finance Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Finance Assistant to join a well-established business based in Redhill. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in finance, offering hands-on experience and full training within a supportive team.
Working closely with the Finance Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Logging & distributing invoices for authorisation
Matching invoices to goods received notes
Processing employee expenses
Handling bank payments
Entering cash book transactions, including payments & receipts
Completing bank reconciliations
Raising & entering sales ledger invoices
Filing financial documents & updating reports within deadlines
About you:
Some exposure to finance or accounts is beneficial
A basic understanding of accounting processes
Strong attention to detail or accuracy
A keen interest in developing a career in finance
Organised and able to manage workload effectivelyNo formal qualifications are required for this role – full training will be provided. What’s most important is your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and eye for detail.
The Package:
Monday to Friday, 37.5hrs per week
Starting salary of £24,500pa (DOE)
